I find the easiest way, and most visual for me, is to actually just lay the slips out as I receive them (through the first rotation), put the CDGs underneath them so they are ready to go (I pull the CDs as I receive the slips) - this will work for up to 25 or so singers, and I am able to see where every one is in the rotation. It's just as easy for me to look up a song for them because if they want to sing it just add it to the queue. Manually updating my electronic books and keeping the physical books up to date (always up to date with the kiosk). Seems to me if patrons can punch in a DJ song they would then feel entitled to hear that song, just like when you punch in a song on the jukebox.
The Hard drive will allow me to add songs I didn't have previously as they get requested without having to be online.

Going to get back into hosting and was wondering if people use alternatives to slips now with COVID restrictions.I always receive compliments for my fair rotation - of course sometimes a slip will go astray, and I mention during the evening that if you brought up a slip and you think I've missed you somehow, please come up and ask.
