The Drag lineup has long been one of the most popular box mod series of all time. Now with the Drag 4, Voopoo has taken everything that made the Drag series great and made it even better. Last week we talked about the different versions of the Geekvape Aegis, and which ones were the best. The consensus, was that the entire lineup is great, but some of the mods and kits were better than others. We talked about how cool the then-new IP67 rating was ground breaking at the time. USB Charging port: If a vape mod takes replaceable batteries, it’s always better to charge them in an external battery charger instead of in the mod. It’s only recommended to charge using the charging port on a mod if it uses an internal built-in battery. The USB port can also be used to update the firmware. Because they use two batteries, some dual battery mods can fire as high as 225W and this makes them great for high wattage vapers. Even if you aren’t planning on vaping at high wattages, a dual battery mod with fully charged batteries will provide long usage times at low to mid wattages. If you are using external batteries we always recommend that you charge them using an external battery charger. Not only do they provide a more balanced charge they help to prolong the life of the battery. If you are charging your batteries inside the device it can lead to significant wear and tear on the USB port.

I tested the water rating of the Geekvape M100 using my bathtub. I filled the tub up and then dropped the M100 into the water. I let it sit underwater, turned on, for 20 minutes before removing it. I then dried it off, attached a tank, and took a drag. The M100 continued to function fine, as if it had never been submerged in the first place. This testing was done a few days ago and it is still working flawlessly up to this point. Let’s start from Aegis Mini 2’s TC mode. The temperature range it offers is wide enough from 100 to 315°C, from which we can set a value we like to heat our e-liquid. As the heating temperature varies, so does the vapor’s temperature, amount, flavor and intensity. That’s why the TC mode plays a vital role in making a vaping device easy and customizable. We don’t have to manually adjust power output to vaporize the e-liquid at a constant temperature—the device can do it automatically, bravo! We heated it up to 200°C along the way. Battery The Drag 4 is a dual battery mod and as such it takes two 18650 batteries to function. While it can be charged using the Type-C port on the front of the device, we highly suggest getting yourself a good external battery charger. Overall, the build-quality and performance of the Drag 4 are hard to beat and it handily earns a place as one of best dual battery box mods of 2023.

MTL? Nope, even with the 0.6ohm coil and the airflow closed off it is far from a MTL kit, well unless you like a really sloppy MTL high wattage draw that is? The GeekVape Z Nano 2 tank is a top filling tank, so you don’t even have to remove it from the mod to add e-liquid. The mesh design of the GeekVape Boost coils heats e-liquid up faster to create a better flavour. To get the best out of your kit, we’d recommend using a 70% VG e-liquid or higher. You’ll also find an adjustable airflow on the top of the tank. With this feature, you can choose a tighter or looser draw. So I wanted to hate this, I really did. But dammit, Geekvape…you won me over with your features! I never should have doubted you. The 1.08” display is clear and crisp. It’s also bright enough to be usable in most lighting situations, including outdoors, and the brightness can be changed using the fire button and adjustment buttons. The UI is clean and the same as the UI on the L200. The UI displays the mode, a battery indicator (no percentage), wattage, resistance, amperage, volts, and a puff timer/puff counter. Short circuit protection: Short circuit protection senses when there is a short. As soon as the short is detected, the device trips and breaks the circuit. This protects your vaping device from overheating the batteries and potentially creating an explosion.
