Please help - I am wondering why a well known garden vac manufacturer provides such flimsy collection bags that develop holes after very few uses, very very few. Designed for medium sized gardens, the PowerVac 2700 has a blow speed of 212km/h and a powerful 2700W motor.

However the difficulty is fastening the bag to its frame - there are small pieces of plastic which need to be inserted into a narrow gap on the frame. The petals were dry and my previous vac would have picked them up without a problem, but the nozzle of this vac needs to be held so close to the ground it makes it hard work picking anything up.If it struggles to pick up virtually floating Wysteria petals, how will it perform with something a bit bulkier like wet leaves?

When vacuuming, the angle of attack of the head to the target is critical, otherwise the loose leaf just stays there.It is a good looking machine that is totally useless at picking up, the blower is good but not outstanding. With a collection capacity of 40L and a shredding ratio of 3:1, leaves are no task for this garden blow vac. Too many of the models available these days are just blowers which I don’t want – I have never understood the logic of blowing leaves on to the pavement or into the road – and machines that do also have a vacuum function are usually not that powerful when it comes to sucking. The Garden leaf blower, which operates as a garden leaf blower or vacuum, has no shredding function.

If your Flymo Garden Vac 2700 is not turning on, even after checking the power cord, changing the fuse, and ensuring that the line is in good shape, there may be a fault with the machine itself.I had an original GardenVac which worked very well, - until it fell over and smashed the case beyond repair.
